Our extensive training courses guarantee that those dealing with children are ready to help families successfully, advocate for child safety, and provide trauma-informed treatment. Response 2 Recovery

Training and Technical Assistance at the Connecticut Children’s Alliance
Building Stronger Communities Through Education, Prevention, and Support
The Connecticut Children’s Alliance (CCA) offers high-quality, trauma-informed training and technical assistance to individuals, organizations, and multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) dedicated to preventing child abuse and supporting child victims and their families. Our trainings are informed by current research, rooted in best practices, and centered around the unique needs of children and families involved in the child welfare, healthcare, legal, and victim services systems.
Many sessions are hosted at our centrally located and newly renovated Training and Resource Center in Hartford, while virtual and on-site training options are also available to accommodate communities across Connecticut. Our staff is committed to tailoring content, format, and delivery length to meet the unique needs of professionals working with children and families.

Training Details:
- Duration: Training sessions can range from one hour to multi-day formats.
- Audience: CCA provides training to a wide range of audiences including educators, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, legal professionals, mental health providers, child protection workers, and community members.
- CEUs: CCA is an approved provider of continuing education hours (CEUs) for eligible trainings. Full attendance is required to receive credit and certificates of completion.
