What We Do

A Statewide Network Protecting Children and Families

The Connecticut Children’s Alliance (CCA) coordinates and strengthens Connecticut’s network of Child Advocacy Centers (CACs), multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), and prevention programs. Together, we ensure every child and family facing abuse, neglect, or exploitation receives expert, compassionate care.

Child Advocacy Centers & Multidisciplinary Teams

Connecticut’s Child Advocacy Centers bring experts together to support children after abuse—providing one safe place for care, justice, and healing. Through our multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach, we reduce trauma by streamlining investigations, sharing expertise, and ensuring no child falls through the cracks.

Prevent Child Abuse Connecticut (PCAC)

Through awareness campaigns, parent leadership, and community-based programs, PCAC empowers families to prevent abuse before it happens.

Human Trafficking Recovery Taskforce (RHTRT)

RHTRT unites law enforcement, advocates, and survivor-informed care to identify and protect child victims of human trafficking in Connecticut.

CCA Training Institute

Our Training Institute equips professionals and community members with the skills to recognize, respond, and advocate for children in crisis.

Join the 7th Annual Response to Recovery Conference

Offering a diverse selection of session topics and workshops, the Response to Recovery Conference is an opportunity for disciplines across Connecticut and nationwide to come together to learn how to strengthen their response to child abuse and exploitation cases.

To report suspected abuse or neglect in Connecticut, call the DCF Careline: 1-800-842-2288 (24/7). If the child is in immediate danger, call 911.
